The opera-fairy tale P.P Valdgardta "Cat’s house" on the motives of the play of Samuel Marwak - these are the first children’s puppet play in the repertoire of theater new opera. Touching, by places ridiculous and instructive history about the beauty-cat, which after fire sheltered not those, who called itself friends, but the once rejected by it poor, but good kittens. In the play of each character plays both the doll and the singer: the suit of doll is slipped over the actor of kuklovoda, and actor-singer sings after character and is supported game at the proscenium. Musical fragments alternate with the recitatives from the fairy tale of S.Marshaka, switching the attention of young spectators from the musical part to the written in verse.
