The State Dance Ensemble "Vainakh" is a Chevalier of the Order named after the first President of the Chechen Republic, Hero of Russia A.A. Kadyrova, holder of the Order of the Star of Jordan, laureate of the Government of the Russian Federation, winner of the Grand Prix of international competitions and festivals.
"Vainakh" ... how meaningful is the name of the legendary ensemble, how much is in this word: in it the character and customs of the people, its culture and traditions, in it the land of the fathers, majestic and beautiful. Mountains and valleys, fast rivers, glaciers and avalanches falling from the rocks - this is the Caucasus - a mountainous region, indented by thousands of gorges and valleys, inhabited by dozens of peoples of different languages. Among these peoples, from time immemorial, between the snowy peaks of the Main Caucasian ridge and the valleys of the Terek-Kum lowland, there have been Chechens who have long called themselves Vainakhs (translated from the Chechen as “our people”)

Dances and songs have always occupied a prominent place in the life of the Vainakhs, accompanying them in joy and sorrow, on weekdays and holidays. The original culture, traditions and customs of the Chechens, anxiously preserved by the people, were passed down from generation to generation.

The Vainakh State Dance Ensemble, well-known not only at home, but also abroad, has been a treasure trove of national art of the Chechen people for 75 years now.
