Anna Aglatova (Soprano)
Biography
Born in Kislovodsk. She completed her studies at the department of academic singing at the Gnesin Music College (R. Lisitsyan’s class) in 2004, after which she enrolled at the Gnesin Russian Music Academy’s faculty of singing. In 2001, she received a Sergei Leiferkus grant from the Vladimir Spivakov Fund. In 2003, she won 1st prize at the Bella voce International Competition for Singers. This resulted in an invitation to appear at the 14th Chaliapin Season at Mineralnye vody (Stavrapol Kray). In 2003, she was invited to take part in the Christmas Festival in Dusseldorf.
In 2005, she made her Bolshoi Theatre debut.

Tours
In 2003, she was invited to take part in the 14th Chaliapin Season at Mineralnye vody (Stavrapol Kray) and in the Christmas Festival in Dusseldorf. In 2006, she sang Susanna in a concert performance of Le Nozze di Figaro (Moscow International Performance Arts Center, conductor Teodor Currentzis), she also sang this role at the premiere of this opera the at the Novosibirsk State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre (conductor Teodor Currentzis, director Tatjana Guerbaca). She participated in Irina Arkhipova Fund project Russian Chamber Vocal Lyric – from Glinka to Sviridov.
Awards In 2003, she won the 1st prize at the Bella voce International Competition for Singers. In 2005, she won the 3rd prize at the Neue Stimmen International Singing Competition (Germany). In 2007, for her performance as Pamina (Die Zauberfloete) at the Bolshoi Theatre, she was recommended for the Golden Mask National Theatre prize. In 2008, she won the 1st prize at the All-Russian Festival-Competition for Young Singers (Lipetsk). In 2009, she received youth grant Triumph Prize.
