State Ensemble of Russian Cossacks (Ensemble)
State Ensemble of the Russian Cossacks (Volgograd, org. 1935) - one of the leading Russian Cossack groups. The ensemble is well known not only in our country but also abroad. Successful choirs held in the U.S., Germany, Italy, France, Belgium, the UK and other countries around the world.
The repertoire of the ensemble have a wide variety of song genres and styles of Don, Kuban, Nekrasov, Terek and Ural Cossacks. Concerts are made into a kind of collective mini-plays, organically combining the song and dance numbers. A special role is played by the ensemble in performances Cossack costumes, giving entertainment and special flavor.
