World Ballet Star, Prima Covent-Garden Natalia Osipova presents her new dance project The Light Breath. The project will premiere at the House of Music, then the program will be shown in the United States as part of a tour.

Natalya Osipova is a brilliant performer of classical ballet parties. The combination of magnificent technique with a bright personality and temperament glorified the ballerina in the batches of Kitri, Giselle, Odette / Odile and many others. Her performances in classical ballets on the stages of the best theatres in the world invariably cause a standing ovation. But the ballerina has always stressed that she is not going to limit her work to the classics. For the past five years, Osipova has successfully collaborated with leading choreographers of contemporary ballet - Arthur Pita, Roy Assaf, Siri Labri Sherkubai and others. The brightest and favourite works of the world ballet star in this genre will be presented in the project “Light Breath”

Programme:

“Facada” by British choreographer Arthur Pita is a “black” comedy, a grotesque tale about a revengeful bride who kills an unfaithful groom. “It's funny, scary and unforgettable,” one of the critics described this ballet.

"Qutb" by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui is a ballet that, according to the author, “explores uncharted and dangerous territory”. The polysemy of the translation of Qutb from the Arabic language reflects the multiplicity of meanings: Qutb is the axis, the foundation, and the righteous in Sufism. The dancers embody in this ballet both suffering people, mythological heroes, and heavenly bodies.

The duet from the ballet "Wild Swans" by the famous Australian choreographer Meryl Tankard based on the fairy tale of the same name by Andersen.

Among the surprises to the public is the world premiere of a performance specially staged for Natalia Osipova and her partner Jason Kittelberger.
