Daniil Trifonov (Piano soloist)

Daniil Trifonov - one of the brightest and most promising pianists of the younger generation. In the summer of 2011 Daniel won the Grand Prix, the first prize and the gold medal of the XIV International Contest of PI Tchaikovsky. A few weeks before this victory pianist was awarded the First Prize and Gold Medal at the International competition the Arthur Rubinstein in Tel Aviv. In 2010, he won the International Piano Competition Chopin in Warsaw (2010, third prize), where he was also awarded a special prize of the Polish Radio for the best mazurkas.

Daniil Trifonov was born in Nizhny Novgorod in 1991, he began studying piano at age 5. He studied at the Gnessin MSSMSH in Moscow in the class T. Zelikman (2000-2009).
