Kevin Wyn-Jones (Light Designer) Kevin Wyn-Jones was born in the U.K. and studied at the Mountview Theatre School in London. From 1998 to 2004 he was the Head of Lighting at Stockholm Folkoperan, also designing stage lighting for other theatres and opera houses in Sweden and elsewhere in Europe. Wyn-Jones first collaborated with the Latvian National Opera while working on the 2001 production of Carmen. Work on the LNO productions of Der Fliegende Hollдnder, Tosca, The Demon, Jenufa and The Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk followed. Kevin Wyn-Jones has also worked as the lighting designer for the Riga Russian Drama Theatre production of Jasmine. In 2007 Wyn-Jones is going to design lighting for a new production of Carmen at the LNO and The Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk for the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow.
